Letter Bomb Injures One At IMF Office In Paris

At least one person has been injured, after a letter sent to the offices of the IMF in the French capital, Paris, reportedly by a Greek far-left group, exploded.

A letter has exploded and injured a person who opened it at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) office in Paris, security sources say. No further details about the incident were available immediately.

The German finance ministry in Berlin intercepted a parcel bomb sent to Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble on Wednesday.

A Greek far-left group, the Conspiracy of Fire Cells, said on a website that it had sent the device.

The IMF Europe Office in the French capital is based on Avenue d’lena, close to the Champs Elysees.
